Pre-Treatment Guidelines

Preparing Your Skin for Your Treatment

To achieve the best possible results and minimize unnecessary skin sensitivity, please follow these guidelines before your appointment.

48–72 Hours Before Your Treatment

• Avoid exfoliating acids such as AHA, BHA and PHA unless they are part of your prescribed skincare routine.

• Avoid scrubs, facial waxing, threading and other aggressive hair-removal methods on the treatment area.

• Avoid introducing new skincare products immediately before your appointment.

• Limit prolonged sun exposure and avoid tanning.

If You Use Active Skincare

Please let us know if you are currently using:

• Retinol or prescription retinoids

• AHAs, BHAs or other exfoliating acids

• Benzoyl peroxide

• Prescription skincare

• Strong exfoliating or peeling treatments

Your treatment may need to be adjusted according to your skin’s current condition.

On the Day of Your Appointment

Please arrive with your skin clean and free from heavy makeup where possible.

Avoid applying strong active products immediately before your appointment.

Please inform us of any known allergies, skin sensitivities, recent cosmetic treatments or relevant medications before your treatment begins.

Recent Treatments

Please tell us if you have recently had:

• Chemical peels

• Microneedling

• Laser or IPL

• Injectables

• Waxing or threading

• Other professional facial treatments

Some treatments require an appropriate recovery period before another procedure is performed.

Important

Every treatment begins with a skin assessment.

Your protocol may be modified or postponed if your skin shows signs of irritation, inflammation, compromised barrier function, infection or excessive sensitivity.
